By downloading, using, creating an account, or registering through the Application, you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and transfer of your personal information for processing in the United States as described in this privacy policy.

About You: We and our vendors may collect personal information directly from you when you provide it through the Application. Personal information can be used to identify you, directly or indirectly alone or together with other information. This information may include but is not limited to your name, address, zip code, phone number, email address, racial or ethnic information, profession/employment details, age, gender, marital status, information about your family, hobbies and interests, medical information, health data, location, and information about your habits.
About Others: If you submit personal information about another person, you confirm that you have obtained their authorization to share such information with us.
However, please note that the Application should not be used to store or transmit protected health information as governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable state laws.
Information We Collect Automatically: In addition to the information you provide, we and our vendors utilize tracking technologies that automatically collect certain information whenever you interact with the Application. This usage information may include device information, IP address, referring URL, and page view information.

Image Scanning: To scan images and extract text from photos that you upload to the Application, with the assistance of third-party vendors.

Location: The Application may collect and use your precise or approximate location to understand where it is generally being used.
Stored Information and Photos/Media/Files: The Application may access and modify the contents of your device's storage to read and write files and photos used within the Application for personalization, attachments, or information uploads.
Camera: The Application may use your device's camera to capture photos and videos for personalization, attachments, or information uploads.
Other Features
The Application may support additional features such as logins using passcodes, fingerprints, or voice-to-text input, which are facilitated through your device settings and preferences and not controlled by NYU.

Links and Features
The Application may contain links to other online services that are not controlled by NYU. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
Personal Information from Children
The Application is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 13 or if parental consent is required under applicable law, you may not use the Application or provide personal data to NYU.
Data Retention
We will retain your Personal Information for as long as you maintain an account or as otherwise necessary to provide you the Services. We will also retain your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Where we no longer need to process your Personal Information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we will delete your Personal Information from our systems.

We maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information collected or received through the Application. However, please note that no transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of this Privacy Policy and provide notification. We encourage you to periodically review this policy for any updates.
